  4. @ engel : That's what I like about you. Your open and curious mind. While I know you're a straight man's gay man, pretty soon we can be discussing the debits of bengaline vs. crinoline ahahaha!

  7. @ i am beki : So much for the stereotype of gay men being interested in fashion haha! Since my Thai is practically non-existent, I have no idea what "bu" means, khrup! Although I believe in Mandarin "bu" means "don't."

Well, when it comes to polyester, "bu" indeed.

  8. @ Ming : LOL @ texTILES and floorTILES! Witty ka, ha!

  9. i still don't get it. whats with polyester and "bu"?

the fabric that is existing in my world are only: cotton and denim.

all fabrics that does not resemble that of denim are assumed as cotton, all fabrics that does not resemble denim are all cotton.

although i know the terms velvet, cashmere, silk and so on. but i really don't care, for me they all fall into the category of cotton!

    hahahaha

  11. @ i am beki: Well, you can never go wrong with cotton. It's the chicken of fabrics.

  12. @ i am beki: Re: filaments

The term “filament” is used in a number of different ways, with the meaning usually being clear from the context. Most of the uses of this word stay true to the Latin root, which means “to spin,” referencing the fact that filaments are long strings of material, which may be made from anything from wool to interstellar gases, depending on the filament in question.

"interstellar gases" - nice terminology. i wonder how i can use it in a sentence.

"an astronaut farts in the space, he emits a what you call an "interstellar gas"".

I can't place where people use tetoron... aprons nga ba or labgowns?

  16. @ I Am Lukayo: Bingo! Galing mo, bro.

As for tetoron, it's so synthethic I wouldn't be surprised if it could stop bullets. The very sight of it stops me dead-cold in my tracks, for instance.

  17. Lukayo: SMB - Style Mo Balahura! hahahahah

Rude: i think i'll choose gold lamé over crinoline for my evening aftan anytime. though tetoron sounds quite avant garde! hahahaha

  18. @ Eternal Wanderer : Somehow, I can picture your blonde fabulousness making a grand, late entrance to this Chat Box in a shimmering shantung silk muu-muu.
